In manual mode, set the stroke of the activation unit to
approximately 50%. The corresponding description can be found
in the operating instructions of the respective activation unit in
the chapter "Start-up and Operation".
Control functions B and i:
For control functions B and I it is not necessary to switch on com-
pressed air for the installation.

Remove actuator when valve in open position.Remove nipple
thread from the valve housing with open-end wrench.

Weld valve housing in pipeline system.

If required, replace graphite seal.
for other housing versions

Connect housing to pipeline.
Warning!
danger if incorrect lubricants used!
Unsuitable lubricant may contaminate the medium. In oxygen
applications there is a risk of an explosion!

In specific applications, e.g. oxygen or analysis applications, use
appropriately authorised lubricants only.

Grease nipple thread before re-installing the actuator (e.g. with
Klüber paste UH1 96-402 from Klüber).

Control function a:
Pressurise control air connection 1 of the
activation unit with compressed air (5 bar) so that the pendulum
disc is lifted off the valve seat and is not damaged when
screwed in.

Screw actuator into the valve housing.Observe tightening torque
(see table "Tightening torques of valve housing / nipples").
