6. If the oil level is low, fill the oil tank (B) with engine
oil and do a check of the oil level again. Refer to
Technical data on page 70 for correct oil type.
Note:
The engine has a system that stops the engine
if the oil level is too low. The engine cannot be started
unless the oil level is above the specified limit.
To examine the hydraulic oil level
1. Stop the engine.
2. Make sure that the engine is cold.
3. Put the product on level ground.
4. Make sure that the level of hydraulic oil is
immediately above the tight part of the hydraulic oil
container.
5. If the hydraulic oil level is below the tight part of the
hydraulic oil container:
a) Clean the hydraulic oil container to decrease the
risk of contamination of hydraulic fluid when the
container is open.
b) Remove the cap for the hydraulic oil container.
c) Fill with hydraulic oil to immediately above the
tight part of the hydraulic oil container. Refer to
Technical data on page 70 for correct oil type
6. Tighten the cap for the hydraulic oil container
correctly before you start the engine.

To replace the engine oil
WARNING:
directly after the engine stops. Let the
engine become cool before you drain the
engine oil. If you spill engine oil on your skin,
clean with soap and water.
1. Put a container below the drain plug for the engine
oil.
2. Remove the drain plug.
3. Let the oil run out into the container.
4. Attach the drain plug and tighten it.
5. Remove the oil tank cap.
6. Fill with new engine oil. Refer to
page 70 .
To replace the air filters
CAUTION:
cleaned. Replace dirty or worn air filters.
Note:
Refer to the operator's manual for the engine
for more information about the air filters.
1. Remove the air filter cover.
2. Remove the large air filter (A) and the small air filter
(B).
