Switch off the device.
Lift the cutting shredder head (7) off the waste bin (9).
Empty the bin.
Put the shredder head (7) back on the waste bin (9).

Slide the operating switch (5) to the "Off" position.

Clean the unit with a dry cloth. In case of heavy soiling, the cloth may
be moistened a bit.

Remove the mains plug from the electrical socket before
cleaning the device.
