m) Playing music from a USB storage device
The device is equipped with a USB port. MP3 files stored on USB storage devices can be played back.
Do not connect an MP3 player operated with batteries with the USB port. The power supply of the USB port
can charge the batteries and lead to overheating and even explosion of the batteries.
Only USB storage devices can be used with the USB port. MP3 players with USB port automatically switch
to the PC mode when plugged into this port. Playing music is not possible in this mode.
Due to the large variety of USB storage devices and their sometimes manufacturer-specific functions, it
cannot be guaranteed that all media are recognized and all options are available in connection with this
device.
If the storage device is not recognized immediately, please disconnect it and insert it again.
• Connect a USB storage device to the USB PLAYBACK port (13).
• Press the button (3) and select the option "USB" with the rotary knob (6) or the arrow buttons (26).
• The data of the storage device are read and playback starts with the first title.
