Should the safety valve consistently leak outside
the heating period of the water heater then the
top (2), JRG Code 1045 or 1048, for the appropri-
ate initial threshold pressure, must be replaced.
If necessary, the following maintenance can
be carried out by a qualified technician:
Replacement of the top
Close off the installation and empty, up to
the level of the safety valve.
Loosen installed top with a fixed, adjustable-,
or screw wrench and remove.
Wrench size (WS) for the top
Safety valve ½" + ¾" WS 35
Safety valve 1" WS 44
