> Do not touch the mains plug with wet hands; electric shock hazard!
> In the case of malfunctions or detecting smoke or odour from the housing,
remove the plug from the power outlet immediately!
> Remove the plug if the device is not going to be used for a prolonged period,
e.g. before going away on a long trip.
> If the device is not to be used for a long time, remove the battery.
> Excessive volume, in particular when using headphones, can damage the hearing.

5 Description of the TECHNIRADIO 3

5.1 Scope of supply

Before starting up, please check that everything has been delivered:

5.2 Special features of the TECHNIRADIO 3

The DIGITRADIO 3 is comprised of a DAB+ / FM receiver with the following functions:
- You can store up to 10 DAB+ and 10 FM stations.
- The radio can receive the following frequencies: FM 87.5-108 MHz (analogue)
and DAB + 174.9-239.2 MHz (digital).
- The device has a time and date display.
- Optional battery operation (not included in scope of supply)

5.3 Preparing the TECHNIRADIO 3 for operation

5.3.1 Optional: Inserting the batteries

> Open the battery compartment on the back of the device by depressing the latch
and removing the cover.
> Insert 4x AA 1.5V batteries, observing the correct polarity, as indicated.
> Place the battery compartment cover on the battery compartment and close it
until it audibly engages.
Promptly change batteries that are losing power.
