Before mounting or removing the guard
for cutting

Remove the battery pack

product cool down before mounting or

Switch the product off. Remove the battery
pack
from the product to prevent the

product from starting unintentionally.
Remove the grinding/cutting disc, if
applicable (see "Attaching/removing the
accessory tool").
Align the teeth on the edge of the guard for
cutting
with the guard for grinding

Turn the guard for cutting
you can feel the lock on the guard for cutting
clicking into place (Fig. I).
Check if the guard for cutting
seated.

Press the lock on the guard for cutting
outwards. Turn the guard for cutting counter-
clockwise (Fig. I).
