4.1.3 Example of Setting Character Encoding
The following uses the example of setting character encoding to UTF8 to show how to navigate through the
setup menu through the function keys. Refer to [Function Keys Page 5] for more information on function
keys.
To set the character encoding to UTF8:
1 Press and hold

2 Press

PC Mode allows the user to use the printer as a
USB device and fetch the Ticket+ software stored
inside the printer flash memory by connecting the
printer to a PC.
Note: No need to exit Menu Mode to make this
parameter take effect.
Shows IP Address of the printer. Default
192.168.1.111.
Shows Subnet Mask of the printer. Default
255.255.255.0.
Shows Default Gateway of the printer. Default
192.168.1.1.
Shows Mac of the printer.
When No Template is selected, the printer prints
out the data received from the weighing terminal.
If other option is selected, the printer prints out the
data using the template format selected. For
instructions on template editing, refer to [Using
Ticket+ Printer Configuration Software
Page 17].
If set as Yes, the printer will be restored to factory
default settings.
After the ribbon is replaced, use this menu to clear
ribbon counts.
Press
to confirm clearing ribbon data. When
successful, the LCD shows "Clear Success".
