Keep the IR sensor covered.
✓ A short flush is actuated after
around 20 s econds.

Move your hand away immediately.
✓ LED flashes once: small
detection range set.
✓ LED flashes twice: large
detection range set.

Actuate the flush to check the
detection range.
✓ LED flashes once: small
detection range set.
✓ LED does not flash: large
detection range set.
If the incorrect detection range is set,
repeat the setting from step 4 within
3 minutes. The tap will switch to the
other detection range.
If it has been longer than 3 minutes,
repeat the setting from step 1.

Contact a skilled person if a malfunction diagnosis is required.

Replacing the battery

When the battery is almost dead, the LED
will flash during flush actuation.
Prerequisite
– A replacement battery (Lithium 6 V CR-
P2) is available.
– The washbasin is empty.

Disconnect the IR sensor. → See
figure sequence
battery , page 43.

Remove the battery compartment
from the wall.

Open the battery compartment and
remove the dead batteries.

Insert new batteries and close the
battery compartment.

Mount the battery compartment on
the wall.

Connect the IR sensor.
✓ The LED flashes 3 times and
then lights up for 15 seconds.
✓ The Geberit Bambini washbasin
tap is ready for operation.

Hold your hand under the Geberit
Bambini washbasin tap to test the
function.
