Replacing the batteries
When using Geberit washbasin taps with battery
operation, the batteries will last for around 200,000
activations. When the battery is almost dead, the
red LED will flash during flush actuation. → See
"Rectifying malfunctions", page 14
Prerequisite
– Two replacement batteries (alkaline battery,
1.5 V, AA) are available.
– There are no objects in the washbasin.

Remove the power supply cable from its
bracket and remove the battery box. → See

Open the battery box and remove the dead
batteries.

Insert new batteries.

Close the battery box.
✓ The washbasin tap switches on. After
approx. 5 seconds water flows.

Insert the battery box and snap the power
supply cable into the bracket.

Checking and charging the
rechargeable battery for
generator operation
If Geberit washbasin taps with generator operation
are used less than around 20 x per day, the
rechargeable battery will not be sufficiently
charged. When the rechargeable battery is almost
empty, the red LED will flash during flush actuation.

When the rechargeable battery is connected to a
battery charger, the LED on the battery will indicate
