Intended Use

The pneumatic grinder with an appropriate tool can be used for dry grinding
applications. The device is suitable for processing wood, metal, plaster, plastic
and filler surfaces. The device may also be used to remove rust and old
coatings and for intermediate grinding.
The intended use also includes an operation following the operating
instructions.
Any use beyond these parameters (different media, applying force) or any
changes (reconstruction, no original accessory) can lead to serious risks and
is regarded as use that is contrary to the intended purpose. The operator is
liable for any damage caused by improper use.

Before first Use

Unpack the pneumatic grinder set and check all parts for any damage in transit.
Dispose of packaging materials or store it out of reach of children. Plastic bags
etc. may become a deadly toy for children.
Start-up
The pneumatic grinder is equipped with an R ¼" quick coupler air inlet (6).
The air pneumatic grinder has to be provided with lubricating oil during operation.
Before each use add oil through the air fitting or use an oil-fog
lubricator. Also pay attention to the chapter "Lubrication".
1. Use a sanding pad according to the material to be processed. For rough
grinding and for uneven surfaces, use a sanding pad with a grit of 60 or 80.
For fine sanding use sanding pads with a grit of 120 or 240.
2. Turn the desired sanding pad clockwise onto the thread of the sanding pad
holder (3) that is attached to the shaft (2). Hold the sanding pad holder with
your hands.
3. Connect the quick coupler if the pneumatic grinder to the compressor. Switch
on the compressor and setup a pressure of 6.3 bar on the compressor.
4. Use the flow regulator (16) for a steplessly regulation of the air supply.
5. First use your thumb to move the safety lever of the throttle lever (4) forward
and then push down the throttle lever. Hold the unit firmly when grinding and
move the sanding pad parallel and evenly along the surface of the workpiece.
This way wave formations and grooves will be avoided.
