Regularly check the instrument for leakage (recommended annually).
Observe maximum pressure ratings!
Calibrate the instrument regularly (recommended annually).
Changing b b atteries/rechargeable b b atteries:
Instrument is switched off.
Fold out the suspension hook and open battery compartment (clip

fastening).
Remove empty batteries and insert new batteries or rechargeable

batteries (4x 1.5V, Type AA / Mignon / LR6) into the battery compartment.
Observe polarity!
Close battery compartment.

Set battery type and check/set date/time, see chapter First s s teps,

Changing c c onnections:
No thread sealants are necessary for the connections.

Unscrew the connections (wrench size 18mm).
Fix connection with a strong-grade threadlocker (e.g.
Loctite 2701).
Screw on the new connection with a torque wrench.
Torque: 4.0Nm / 2.95ft*lb.
