OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS
- Ensure that installation has been carried out correctly.
- The manufacturer declines all responsibility in
the case of improper installation, incorrect main-
tenance or improper use.
- The appliance is designed for industrial use and must
be operated exclusively by qualified personnel.
- The appliance is designed for use as specified. Any
use other than specified is to be considered improper.
- Do not use the pasta cooker as a fryer since the
temperature of the oil could not be controlled and
would go higher than 230 ° C with the risk of it
catching fire.
- Always observe minimum air quantities as specified
for supply to the combustion area.
- READ THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS BOOKLET
CAREFULLY before starting the appliance, with spe-
cial attention to the standards regarding safety de-
vices.
- Always close the gas supply valves when the appli-
ance is not used and during maintenance and repairs.
- Follow cooking instructions carefully, at least in the
first period of operation, until you are familiar enough
with the appliance to select temperatures and times
accordingly.
- Before the initial start-up of the appliance clean the
tanks and false bases thoroughly with warm water and
detergent to remove the protective film of oil.
TANK FILLING
- Check that the drain valve is closed and turn the water
filler valve located on the left of the appliance control
panel anti-clockwise .
WATER DRAIN OUTLET
- The water drain outlet is located in the cabinet under
the combustion chamber .
IGNITION
- The burner is supplied by a valve with low and high
flame adjustment.
PILOT BURNER IGNITION
- Push and turn the valve knob anti-clockwise to the

pilot setting ( ). Wait until all air is expelled from the
tube (first time only) and press the piezo-electric
ignition button repeatedly.
L ook through the hole on the front side off the
combustion chamber, to verify if the pilot light is
burning. When the flame is lit, keep the knob pressed
for a few seconds and then release. If the flame goes
out, repeat the operation.
NOTE
- If, due to a fault, the spark is no longer produced, you
can ignite the gas manually. Keep the knob pressed
and bring a flame up to the pilot burner via the
combustion chamber inspection hole.
MAIN BURNER IGNITION
Turn the valve knob to the maximum setting (
main burner ignites on arrival of the gas. To reduce
burner power turn the valve knob to the minimum
setting (
).
SWITCHING OFF THE APPLIANCE
- To switch off the main burner, turn the cock clockwise

to position (
).
- To switch off the appliance completely, turn the cock
clockwise to position (
WARNINGS AND NOTES
- The time required for water of pasta cooker to reach
boiling point from a temperature of 18 ° C is
approximately 27 minutes.
- When cooking whit pasta cooking , always keep the
water supply tap slightly open to allow for the elimination
of excessive starch through the overflow and to maintain
the correct water level.
- NEVER SWITCH ON THE APPLIANCE BEFORE
FILLING THE WATER TANK.
CAUTION: DO NOT OBSTRUCT THE VENTILATION
SLITS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PASTA COOKER.
CLEANING
- Before cleaning, ensure that the detergent used is
suitable for cleaning stainless steel.
- Clean parts frequently and thoroughly with a damp
cloth. Soap and water may be used, or any
commercial detergent that does not contain chlorine
and/or abrasive substances.
- Rinse parts with clean water and dry thoroughly. Wipe
the cloth in the direction of the brushed glaze finish
only. Never use jets of water to clean the appliance
to avoid penetration and damage to internal parts.
