Characters used in strings:
<Ind>
= instrument address, is the ASCII character obtained by adding 80h to the address number
(example address 1: <Ind> = 80h + 01h = 81h).
<csum> = check sum of string data; it is calculated by executing the exclusive OR (XOR) of all characters
from <Ind> to ETX excluding the latter; the result of the XOR is decomposed into 2 characters
considering separately the upper 4 bits (first character) and the lower 4 bits (second character);
the 2 characters obtained are then ASCII coded. (Example: XOR = 5Dh; <csum> = "5Dh" e. g.
35h and 44h.
<state> = see table below
Bit 7
0
<tare> = field composed of 7 ASCII characters with numerical weight values justified to the right;
<s1>...
characters can take values between "0" and "9" (30h and 39h), space (20h) or decimal point
<s4>
"." (2Eh); the decimal point position must respect that of the instrument display.
<net>
= field composed of 7 ASCII characters with numerical weight values justified to the right; charac-
ters can take values between "0" and "9" (30h and 39h), space (20h) or decimal point "." (2Eh);
in case of negative weight the first character of the <net> field corresponds to "-" (2Dh);
In overweight conditions the field assumes the value: "^^^^^^^".
In underweight conditions the field assumes the value: "_ _ _ _ _ _ _".
In undetectable weight conditions, the same string shown on the display is transmitted.
