Oven instructions
Large oven:
The large oven has seven functions:
Pyrolysis self-cleaning, grilling, maxi grilling, circu-
lation grilling, convection, conventional baking and
intensive baking.
Small oven:
The small oven has three functions:
Pyrolysis self-cleaning, grilling and conventional
baking.
Convection setting:
The convection setting uses a fan at the back of
the oven, next to the heating element, to circulate
heated air around the food.
This makes it a great method for cooking entire
meals. The hot air is distributed evenly to all
levels in the oven. The convection setting is the
most commonly used setting.
Note: In many cases, the convection setting will
reduce the cooking time.
Conventional baking:
This setting works as a conventional oven, but
uses the top heating element. Ideal for cooking
those dishes you would also cook in a convection
oven.
Fan grilling:
In this position, the heat from the fan at the
back of the oven is distributed evenly in the oven.
Excellent for cooking pork chops, sausages, satay,
etc.
Note: Grilling should always be carried out with
the oven door closed.
Grilling:
Conventional grilling using only the middle section
of the grill element. Great for cooking chicken and
rolled meat. This function is often used for au gra-
tin dishes or desserts with brown sugar glazing.
Note: Grilling should always be carried out with
the oven door closed.
Maxi grilling:
Conventional grilling using the entire grill element.
We recommend using this function for cooking
chicken and rolled meat, au gratin dishes or
desserts with brown sugar glazing.
Note: Grilling should always be carried out with
the oven door closed.
Intensive baking:
Both the upper and lower elements are working,
assisted by the internal oven fan, ensuring the
even distribution of hot air.
Pyrolysis cleaning: (Automatic
self-cleaning cycle)
This cleaning cycle consists of the combustion of
food residues at extremely high temperatures. The
oven is equipped with an internal odour eliminator
to remove odours as much as possible.
During this cycle, the oven doors are blocked.
Once the oven cools off to 180 degrees at the end
of the cycle, the doors are unlocked. The residual
ashes can be removed with a damp cloth.
WARNING: During pyrolysis cleaning, the oven
surface will reach a higher temperature than nor-
mal. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM THE OVEN AND
PREVENT TOUCHING.
