Charging the battery

1. Connect the appliance plug (H) on the plug-in trans-
former to the charging stand socket (E) (Fig. ⓐ).

The appliance can also be connected

ing (Fig. 2ⓐ/ⓑ).

Battery operation
1. Switch on the appliance using the on/off switch
(Fig. 3).
·
The appliance has three speed settings
S1 – S3.
·
The desired speed setting can be selected
by keeping the on/off switch pressed. The
appliance changes the speed setting every
two seconds. Release the on/off switch
when the desired speed setting has been
reached.
·
When the appliance is switched on, it is set
to the speed setting used last.
2. Select the desired speed by keeping the on/off
switch pressed (Fig. 3) and then release it when the
desired speed setting has been reached.
·
The battery operating time depends on
the selected speed setting and blade set
maintenance. It should be from approx. 80
minutes to max. 90 minutes.
·
The battery power indicator on the on/off
switch (B) will start flashing when the bat-
tery has < 5% power remaining. The bat-
tery needs to be recharged.
·
In case of insufficient maintenance of
the blade set, the operating time can be
reduced considerably.
3. Use the on/off switch to switch off the appliance
after use (Fig. 3).
Mains operation
1. Connect the appliance plug (H) on the plug-in trans-
former to the appliance socket (C) (Fig. 2ⓐ).
2. Connect the plug-in transformer to the mains socket
(Fig. 2ⓑ).
3. Switch on the appliance using the on/off switch
(Fig. 3).
4. Select the desired speed by keeping the on/off
switch pressed (Fig. 3).
5. Use the on/off switch to switch off the appliance
after use (Fig. 3).
