This chapter will provide an overview on the various functions and features of your new
»Design Espresso Advanced Professional«.
Note:
A lot of the functions and features of the »Design Espresso Advanced Professional« can
be programmed to your individual taste. Refer to the chapters ›Programmable Func-
tions‹ and ›Advanced Settings‹.

Automatically grinds, doses and tamps the required amount of coffee, mess
free.
Adjustable grind settings from fine to coarse for the optimum espresso extrac-
tion.
Maximise ground coffee surface area for a full espresso flavour.
Automatically textures milk to the selected temperature and style from silky
smooth latté to creamy cappuccino. Automatic purge removes residual milk
from the steam wand when returned to the downward position.
Separated stainless steel espresso and steam boilers for simultaneous milk tex-
turing and espresso extraction.
Electronic PID temperature control delivers precise water temperature for opti-
mum espresso flavour. Programmable.
Commercial size 58mm group head with embedded element for thermal stabi-
lity during extraction.
Over pressure valve (OPV) limits maximum pressure for optimal espresso fla-
vour.
Gradually increases water pressure to gently expand grinds for an even extrac-
tion. Programmable.
Separated espresso and steam boiler pumps.
