NOTE
You recognise a mounted winter cover on the LS 230 ventilation grille by
the bolts protruding from the ventilation grille (fig. h 1, page 8).

Replacing the batteries in the igniter (RML9330 only)
Proceed as follows (fig. i, page 9):
➤ Using a screwdriver, press the cap on the battery igniter in 2 or 3 mm and turn it
90° to the left (A).
➤ Remove the cap (B).
➤ Remove the battery (B).
➤ Insert the new battery (type AA). Make sure the polarity is correct.
➤ Put the cap back on.

Replacing the door panel
A
NOTICE! Beware of damage
Only ever lay the refrigerator on its side and never on its back. Otherwise
the unit may be damaged.
Proceed as follows (fig. j, page 9):
➤ Remove the door trim carefully. It is only stuck on and held by small hooks (A).
➤ Remove the old panel sideways from the door (A).
➤ Slide the new panel into the opening (B).
➤ Replace the door trim (B).
✓ The door trim is secure once it clicks into place.
If you have laid the refrigerator on its side to insert the panel:
➤ Wait a few minutes before you switch on the refrigerator.
