P.T.O.: at 965 r.p.m. Independent of the gear change with motor running at 3600 r.p.m.
Wheels: tyres 4.00-8 (1,1 BAR) – 16-6.50/8 cage wheels (1,2 BAR).
Cutter bar: 110 and 115 cm central cutting bars, 117 cm double-blade cutting bar
Handlebar: side and height adjustment in several positions.
Track: measured from the outer edge of the wheels: with tyres 4.00-8 > 43 cm.
Implements and attachments: cutting bar, front blade, snow thrower, 50 cm rotary cutter, 80 cm
sweeper.
1) Check that the machine has not been damaged during transport.
2) Remove the sickle-bar from its packaging paying attention not to damage levers and cables.
Use a lifting machine (capacity: 200 kg). Before putting the walking tractor on the ground mount the
wheels and fix them tightly using the appropriate fixing nuts (fig. 6).
3) Set the handlebar in the desired position.
4) Before connecting the attachment grease both the PTO and the 3-teeth coupling, then mount
the attachment (e.g. cutting bar) by completely inserting the attachment into the coupling of the
sickle bar. To fix the attachment turn the lever of the quick coupling into position "BLOCCATO"
(LOCKED – fig. 2).
5) Add engine oil (please refer to the appropriate manual).
6) Check oil in the gearbox (fig. 4). If necessary add MP 80W90 oil, quantity 2,2 litres.
7) Add oil into the oil-bath air filter (for versions provided with this type of filter – fig. 1A, n. 11), use
the same oil type as the engine oil.
8) Check the tyre pressure according to the table below:
TYRE PRESSURE
4.00-8
16-6.50/8
9) Fill the tank with fuel using a funnel provided with a fine filter.
11) Check liquid levels with the machine set in horizontal position.
Before starting the engine always check:
the oil levels inside the engine (fig. 3) and the gearbox; the level check cap is on the upper
cover (fig. 4); the oil level must be between the two notches.
that all screws and nuts are well tightened.
that all levers are in neutral position.
That the PTO lever is not engaged. IMPORTANT: when the right lever (fig. 1B, n. 9) is
pressed down the PTO is NOT ENGAGED and the attachment is off, when the lever is
RELEASED the PTO is on and the attachment starts rotating (see PTO label – fig. 1).
that the dry air filter is clean (fig. 5). Important: do not blow the cartridge with compressed
air. If it is clogged, the cartridge must be replaced.
that the oil-bath air filter is clean and the oil at the right level (fig. 1A, n. 11).
fill the tank with fuel, using a funnel with very fine filter. The fuel cap is located on the
engine (fig. 1A, n. 5).
STARTING THE PETROL ENGINE
Turn on the petrol cock, push the throttle lever halfway and engage the choke device if the engine
is cold (fig. 1A, n. 3A). If the walking tractor is equipped with the recoil starter, pull hard on the pull
starter handle (fig. 3, n. 3) to start the engine. To switch on the engine equipped with recoil starter
pull hard in the recoil starter handle (always refer to the engine manual – fig. 1A, n. 3). Once the
