zip pocket. This is intended for a mobile
phone or money.
Ice axe attachment
A loop and bungee are fitted to secure an
ice axe. Thread it through the loop and ro-
tate it 180 degrees. Then fix the handle
using the bungee.
Rain cover
The MONTIS+ is supplied with a rain co-
ver. This protects the equipment from
moisture.

Adjusting the rucksack

Adjust the rucksack so that most of the load is carried on the hips. Pull the waist
straps 1 tight (symmetrically) and loosen the main carrying straps
are not too tight, but so that they still secure the carrying position of the rucksack.
