3. Intended use

This product is designed to measure the wind speed (with the air flow rate) and the temperature of
the ambient air and components in degrees Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F) (type K temperature sen-
sor). The wind speed is displayed in five different units. Average, minimum and maximum values can be
shown on the display. The meter has an automatic power-off function, which can be disabled if desired.
Measurement values can be frozen for extended viewing using the data hold function. The meter is powered by a 9
V block battery. The product is designed to take several different measurements. The environmental meter combines
5 measuring devices in one unit: Anemometer · Luxmeter · Sound level meter · Thermometer · Hygrometer. It is
designed to take reference measurements.
The sensors for light intensity, temperature, humidity and wind speed are equipped with a connection cable and can
be used away from the meter. This enables you to easily take measurements on objects which are difficult to access.
The meter features a built-in microphone for measuring the sound level. The light sensor is fully cosine-corrected for
sideways light incidence. Temperature and humidity measurements can be taken at the same time as sound level,
wind speed and light intensity measurements.
The units for temperature, wind speed and light intensity measurements can be changed. The meter can take the
following measurements:
- Sound level 30 - 130 dBA
- Light intensity 0 - 20000 Lux / 0 - 20000 Fc
- Wind speed 0.4 - 30.0 m/s
- Air Temperature -30 °C to +60 °C/-22 to 140 °F
- Temperature -200 to 1372 °C/-328 to 2502 °F (meter) (0 to 250 °C for temperature sensor)
- Relative humidity: 0 % to 100 %
The meter is suitable for a wide range of scenarios in factories, schools, offices and homes. The product is not in-
tended for medical or commercial use.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture (e.g. in a bathroom) must be
avoided under all circumstances. Measurements must not be taken outdoors in wet or rainy conditions.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product for purposes other than
those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as a short circuit,
fire or electric shock. Read the operating instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Only make this product
available to third parties together with its operating instructions.
