6. Changing the batteries
When the LCD screen displays
and replace the used batteries taking care to observe polarity. A polarity error may
cause damage and void the guarantee. Do not use batteries other than the batteries
mentioned, do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries, or throw them into a fire.
Remove the batteries when not using the device for a long period. Use disposable batteries.

The THERMOFLASH® LX-260TE can take temperature measurements below 32°C / 89.6°F or
above 42.9°C / 109.22°F. Outside these temperature ranges, precision is not guaranteed.
Longevity of use
The THERMOFLASH LX-260T EVOLUTION is guaranteed for about 40,000 readings.

X. TROUBLESHOOTING
If you experience any of these problems using your THERMOFLASH® LX-260T EVOLUTION,
please refer to this troubleshooting guide to resolve the problem. If the problem persists, please

- The display indicates temperatures above 95°: the temperature is indicated in Fahrenheit.
Change the unit of measure to Celsius.
- The screen displays temperatures below 32°C (89.6°F) : to measure body temperature, the
mode BODY must be selected. If the thermometer is in SURFACE or ROOM mode, the displayed
reading indicates the external temperature released by your body.
- The screen displays the message HI : the analysed temperature is above the range of the
selected mode, i.e. greater than 42.9°C (109.2°F) in BODY mode, or 60°C (140°F) in SURFACE
mode.
- The screen displays the message LO : The analysed temperature is below the measuring range
of the selected mode, i.e. less than 32°C (89.6°F) in BODY mode and less than 0°C (32°F) in
SURFACE mode.
