Please read this manual care fully. It includes important information for the
safe and successful use of the Clipster

Proper Use

Clipster Aseptic Disconnector was exclusively developed, constructed and

built for the aseptic disconnection of tubing in biopharmaceutical
applications.
The system is exclusively designed for the purpose defined above. Any
other application above or beyond this without the written permission of the
manufacturer is not considered proper use.
Sartorius Stedim Biotech cannot assume liability if Clipster
Disconnector is subjected to improper use or improper operation. Sartorius
Stedim Biotech is not liable for any damages resulting there from. The oper-
ator bears the sole risk.
Proper use also includes compliance with operating, inspection and mainte-
nance conditions prescribed by the manufacturer. Non-compliance with the
warnings in the operating instructions constitutes improper use of the device.
