3. Driving

DANGER!
Insufficient roadworthiness can lead to accidents with CHARLY.
Before starting any ride, please check:
Seat, seat support and steering rod must be tightly secured.
Tyre air pressure.
Brakes.
Discharge degree of battery.
Vehicle stand locked in top position.
Payload limit of 102 kg (225 lbs) observed.

• Unlock and safely store the cable lock. (A cable lock is available as an accessory).
• Push CHARLY off the main stand. The main stand must fold up completely.
• Sit down on the seat and turn the key in arrow direction to turn the master switch (3)
ON.
• To drive, rotate the turning handle (1) in arrow direction (FASTER). CHARLY will go
faster as the turning handle is turned on further.
