Note on the Technical Connection Rules for
Low-Voltage:
In various countries, the local Technical Con-
nection Rules for Low Voltage stipulate that the
responsible power provider utility be notified of
electric car charging stations or that an authorisa-
tion or license be obtained from the utility. Many
power providers, however, have yet to define
procedures for such notification or authorisation,
in particular for mobile charging stations which, by
their very nature, are usually not used at all within
the utility's service area. After numerous discus-
sions of this matter, we recommend that you at
least notify your power provider if your JUICE
BOOSTER 2 is used as a wall-mounted charging
station. The form of notification or registration has
not yet been automated, and is in some cases
defined on the power provider's website.
