Additional safety devices

External emergency release
If the garage does not have a second access, an external emergency release must be fitted
(see "Accessories"). The garage door can then be opened from outside (by hand), e.g. in the event of
a power failure/malfunction.
Mechanical end stop
To ensure that the garage door starts up and is in working order after striking an obstacle, the movement
of the garage door must always be restricted by a fixed mechanical end stop (included in standard
delivery).
Door lock
The garage door opener is self-locking and keeps the door closed. Automate (see "Accessories"),
remove or disable existing garage door locks.

Warning!
Incorrect installation may result in serious injuries. Follow all installation instructions!
The assistance of a second person will facilitate installation.
Caution!
When drilling above your head, wear protective goggles.
Before drilling, cover the opener head to protect against dust.

Checking the contents of the packaging

To ensure interruption-free installation, check prior to installation that the contents of the packaging are
– complete,
– undamaged.
Do not install damaged parts! Contact your dealer.
Note:
Foam parts AA are used to absorb the noise of the chain.
Set out all tools required for installation.
