4.6 Pause
This feature is not commonly used and may only be needed on special occasions.
When dialling with the handset off the cradle or when pre-dialling, press the »REDI-
AL/P« key to insert a pause in the chain of digits. The display will show the letter »P«
in the row of entered numbers, When the combination is dialed, the line will insert a 3.6
second pause at the position while dialling.
Note: The 3.6 second pause can also be saved into a phonebook number or the memory
of hotkeys 1 and 2.
4.7. Flash time function
This feature is not commonly used and may only be needed on special occasions.
In case the telephone is used within a PABX (multi-client telephone system), it can be
necessary to insert flash time for some special functions. In offhook mode, press the
»FLASH« key to insert flash time. The flash time length can be changed in the menu.

4.8 Adjust handset volume
During a phone call, the volume of the handset can be adjusted with the -UP and
-DOWN buttons. »« means increasing the volume and »« lowers the volume.
4.9 Adjust Hands-free volume
The volume of a hands-free call can also be adjusted by using the -UP and -DOWN
buttons. Pressing »« increases the volume and pressing »« lowers the volume.
4.10 Adjust ringer volume
The ringer volume switch can be found on the rear of the telephone. There are 3 selecta-
ble volume levels, marked by bell symbols: low, medium and high. The ringtone volume
can be set accordingly.
