circuit analyzer. If adverse power conditions exist, a dedicated power circuit or
power line conditioner might be required.

Power Requirements
The terminal requires 100 to 240 VAC (at 400 mA maximum) with a line
frequency of 49 to 61 Hz of power.
Ethernet and USB Connections
The IND780's Ethernet connection provides a 10/100 base T connection (10/100
Mb) via a standard RJ45 connector.
The standard ST30 USB connector allows USB-supported peripherals, such as
keyboards, to be attached to the IND780.
Figure 2-30 shows the locations of the Ethernet and USB connectors on the main
PCB. In this case, the PCB is mounted in a Panel enclosure.

COM1 and COM2 Serial Port Connections
The COM1 port includes connections for RS232, while COM2 supports connections
for RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485. The Interface parameter (in Setup at
Communication > Serial) must be set to match the hardware connection used.
This parameter controls how the transmit and receive lines are controlled.

Figure 2-31 indicates which terminal represents which signal on the COM1 Port,
