4. Reading the instructions for use

These instructions of use must be read before using the system for the first time.
It is important to follow these instructions in the interests of safety.

a new owner at a later date.

5. Intended use

The folding patio roof PERGOLA SUNRAIN Q may be used for its intended purpose only, which is to
providea wind-stabile protection from the sun and rain. Improper use can lead to significant danger.
The product may only be modified, altered or fitted with attachments subject to the written consent of the
manufacturer.
Additional loads on the system caused by items hung on them or by guy ropes may result in the system
being damaged or falling down. Such action is therefore not permitted.

6. Operation

Measures must be taken to ensure that the system is not operated by children or by people who
lack the capacity to accurately assess the risks posed by incorrect or improper use.
Wireless remote controls must be kept out of reach of children.
Please also read the separate adjustment and operation instructions supplied by the manufacturer of the
motor, switch and control unit.
Press the relevant switch to extend and retract the folding patio roof or move it up and down until the
required position is reached.
The use se as sun protection system can be in any position. For the use in case of rain and / or wind, the
system must be completely extended for the fabric maximum tension. When it rains, the system must also
be lowered to ensure a water drain.
If the system is extended and retracted or moved up and down several times in quick succession, the motor
may overheat and cut out (automatic thermal circuit-breaker). The motor will be operational again when it
has cooled down without any further action being taken.
