Press the appropriate softkey to listen to the message. To listen to other messages, pro-
ceed as described on page 20.

Listening to messages by means of the audio socket (Audio Out)

The telephone is equipped with an audio output ( Audio-Out jack).Recorded messages can be output
via Audio-Out or stored on a PC fitted with a sound card (see page 4).
Begin as follows:

key.

You can only output message via "Audio-Out" with the receiver on hook (»speaker« fea-
ture active).
Use appropriate software for recording messages on your PC.

Accepting a call from the answering machine

The listening function (see page 5) must be activated in order to accept a caller who is currently lea-
ving a message on the answering machine. You can set the listening function in the configuration pro-
gram for all incoming calls, or during recording of individual calls.
While the answering machine is recording a call, the display illu-
strated here is shown.
