4 - MACHINE INSTALLATION
4.1 Warnings
Installation must be carried out by qualified staff,
following the instructions provided by the manufacturer
and in observance of the current laws in force.
4.2 Preparation
installation
Prepare the base for the machine on a flat, dry,
smooth, strong, stable surface, placed high enough
so that the cup heating shelf is more than 150 cm
from the ground. Do not use jets of water or install
the machine in places where water jets are used. To
ensure normal running, the machine must be installed
in places with a temperature range of +5°C - +32°C
and with maximum humidity of 70%. The machine
is powered electrically and needs the following to
function:
- connection to the electrical power circuit.
4.2.1 Connection
network
Warnings:
- The plant must be built in compliance with the
current laws in force and be earthed.
The machine must be supplied with an electrical power
cable with a fitted plug.
4.3 Equipotential connection
This connection, foreseen by some laws, acts to
avoid differences in electrical potential between the
equipment masses installed in the same room. This
equipment is fitted with a clamp under the base to
connect to an external wire with a nominal section in
compliance with the current laws in force.
5 - MACHINE USE

ages to the heating element for which the
Manufacturer is not responsible.
1) Open the water tank lid (Fig. 01; pos. 7), remove
the tank (Fig. 04), fill with water (use drinking wa-
ter with water hardness in French degrees of about
15°F); never use hot water.
2) Replace the tank and reconnect silicone tubes
for
making sure that the suction pipe on the left of the
tank touches the bottom of the same (Fig. 04).
3) Close the lid.
4) Plug in.
The following procedure must be per-
formed at the first start-up or after long
periods of inactivity of the machine to en-
sure the filling of the boiler.
1) Open the steam/water tap, lifting the lever the tap
will remain in open position (Fig. 05), then press
the coffee switch (Fig. 01; pos. 9) and the main
switch (Fig. 01; pos. 14) (green led on, orange led
on Fig. 01; pos. 15/13).
2) When water flows out of the steam tube (Fig. 01;
pos. 3) close the tap (Fig. 05) then turn the coffee
switch off (Fig. 01; pos. 9).
3) Wait until the machine has reached the correct
temperature, that is until the orange led is switched
off (Fig.1; pos 15). This led signals the switching
off of the heating element.
To heat the group dispense some water (about
500cc), the optimum temperature is reached after 5
minutes.
5.2 Switching on during normal opera-
tion
1) Plug in.
2) Make sure that there is enough water in the tank.
3) Press the main switch (Fig. 01; pos. 14) (green led
on Fig. 01; pos. 15).
4) Wait until the machine reaches the correct tem-
perature.
5.3 Coffee preparation
1) Wait until the machine reaches the correct temper-
ature for coffee delivery, signalled by the switching
off of the orange led (Fig. 01 pos 15).
2) Remove the filter-holder of the machine and:
Capsule Model: introduce the coffee capsule into the
single-spout filter holder (Fig. 02; pos. 16).
