Receiver software version
NOTE!
The pressure transmitter requires a receiver with a software version (firmware) of 216.04.01
or higher.

Inserting/changing the battery
CAUTION!
Make sure that contaminants, moisture, and steam cannot enter the device.
The device could be destroyed.
When inserting/changing the lithium battery make sure that the device is not exposed to con-
taminants, moisture, and steam. In addition, it must be ensured that the seal is correctly fitted
between the case and process connection.
CAUTION!
The transmitter does not function if the poles are incorrectly connected.
The transmitter's battery and electronics could be damaged.
Make sure that the battery poles are correctly connected.
CAUTION!
Incorrect batteries put safety at risk.
The device could be destroyed if incorrect batteries are used.
Only use the lithium batteries that are available as accessories.
CAUTION!
Electrostatic discharge.
The device is fitted with electronic components that can be destroyed by electrostatic dis-
charge.
When opening the device for maintenance or service work, it must be ensured that the per-
sonnel are sufficiently electrostatically discharged.
A lithium battery 3.6 V, 3.6 Ah (size C) is required for the transmitter voltage supply and must
be inserted before startup.
The battery operating life depends on the set transmission interval and the ambient tempera-
ture – the duration is approximately 1 year with the factory settings (transmission interval 5 s)
and at room temperature.
