A request for inspection must be made to the
forwarder in case of hidden damage or losses
detectable only after unpacking the appliance.
The forwarder will arrange an inspection. Keep
all the contents and packing material. Under no
circumstances should a damaged appliance
be returned to the manufacturer without prior
notice and written permission.
The machine must only be transported, handled
and stored by qualifi ed personnel, who must:
•
Have specific technical training and
experience;
•
Be familiar with the safety regulations and
applicable laws in the relevant sector;
•
Be familiar with the general safety rules;
•
Be able to recognize and avoid any possible
hazard.

whenever transport is undertaken by carriers
chosen by the Customer.

Transport: instructions for the
carrier
During the journey the tightness of the fi xing
systems must be checked several times, and
in particular:
•
A few km after the start of the journey;
•
In case of sudden temperature changes;
•
In case of intense cold;
•
In case of particularly rough roads;
When removing the anchoring systems, make
sure the stability of the machine's parts does
not depend on the anchoring and, therefore,
that this operation does not cause the load to
fall off the vehicle.

When braking;

If slings in synthetic fi bre are used to secure
the machine, protect them against rubbing,
abrasion and damage caused by any sharp
edges of the load. If there are sharp edges

protectors or sliding tubes.

Arrange a suitable area with fl at fl oor for
machine unloading and storage operations.

Procedures for handling operations
For correct and safe lifting operations:
•
Use the type of equipment most suitable for
characteristics and capacity (e.g. electric
pallet truck or lift truck);
•
Cover sharp edges;
•
Check the forks and lifting procedures
according to the instructions given on the
packing.
