7 Assembling the Lawn Scarifier
► Press the button (1).
The LEDs (5) glow green for about 5 seconds and indicate
the state of charge.
► If the LED on the right flashes green: Charge the battery.

LEDs on the Battery
The LEDs can indicate the battery charge state or faults.The
LEDs can illuminate or flash green or red.
If the LEDs light up or flash green, the charge state is being
indicated.
► If the LEDs light up or flash red:remedy the faults,
@ 20.1.
There is a fault in the lawn scarifier or in the battery.
7 Assembling the Lawn Scarifier
7.1
Attaching the Handlebar
► Switch the lawn scarifier off, pull out the activation key and
remove the battery.
► Place the lawn scarifier on a level surface.
► Push holder (8) onto bolts (7).
► Align upper handlebar (1) and centre handlebar
section (2) so that the bores align.
► Insert bolt (7) and align so that the bolt head is flush with
centre handlebar section (2) on both sides.
► Place washer (4) on bolt (7).

► Screw on wing nut (3).
► Align lower handlebar (10) and centre handlebar
section (2) so that the bores align.
► Insert bolt (7) and align so that the bolt head is flush with
centre handlebar section (2) on both sides.
► Place washer (4) on bolt (7).
► Screw on wing nut (3).
► Press cable (9) into holders (8).
The handlebar must not be dismantled again.
7.2
Removing the Combing Roller from the
Transport Compartment Before Use for the First
Time
► Switch the lawn scarifier off, pull out the activation key and
remove the battery.
► Place the lawn scarifier on a level surface.
► Open quick-clamping devices (1) and fold down the
handlebar to the rear.
► Hold the lawn scarifier at the lower transport handle and
upend.
