4. S-Video Output
Analog video output for connecting Home Theatre systems through matching input jacks.
5. Analog Video Output
Analog video output for connecting Home Theater systems or monitors. The available video output
signal format is "CVBS"
6. Digital Audio Output (Coaxial)
Dolby Digital and Linear PCM Stereo output for digital input of a HiFi or A/V system with integrated
digital decoder.
7. Analog Audio Output (Stereo)
Audio Stereo L/ R signal for connecting your TV, HiFi or Home Theatre system.
8. SCART Connector (TV)
For connection of all audio and video signals of this digital receiver to the TV set.The video signal
is output as RGB or "CVBS" (F-BAS) respectively.
9. SCART Connector (VCR)
For connection of all audio and video signals of this digital receiver to a video cassette recorder
(VCR).The video signal is output as "CVBS" (F-BAS) respectively
10. VHF / UHF Terrestrial Antenna Input 1 (RF 1)
This signal input is allocated to Tuner 1. Connect your DVB-T aerial antenna to this terminal (RF1
IN). "Active" antennas system with amplifiers built-in will be powered with the required 5V via this
GB
terminal; (to be selected in the "General Settings" menu, item "Antenna Booster Power").
11. Antenna Loop-Through Output 1 (RF 1)
If you have another analogue or digital receiver or RF 2 Input and you wish to use the same
antenna, then you can connect it to this "antenna loop-through" output jack (RF OUT)
12. VHF / UHF Terrestrial Antenna Input 2 (RF 2)
This signal input is allocated to Tuner 2. Under normal
circumstances the same aerial antenna is used for both tuners
1 and 2. Thus we recommend connecting Terminal 2 (RF 2 IN)
to the Loop-through output of Tuner 1 (RF 1 OUT) with the
supplied patch cable (see figure).
Note: If, however, you use separate aerial antennas for the tuners, please be aware of the fact that
the Terminal "RF 2 IN" does not provide the 5V power feed required by active aerial antennas
13. Antenna Loop-Through Output 2 (RF 2)
If the Loop-through output 1 is occupied (e.g. the patch cable connects it to Tuner 2), you can
connect another digital or analogue TV receiver via the Loop-through output 2 (RF2 OUT) to the
same aerial antenna. The "Loop-through" signal is then input to this device.
14. Mechanical Power Switch
Please note that the STB will be isolated completely from the 230V mains supply only after setting
this mechanical power switch to OFF.If the device is not used for a long period of time, we
recommend switching it off completely with this switch and disconnecting it from the power supply.
CAUTION:
Do not mix up RF IN and RF OUT jacks when connecting your antenna system.
