Take electronic slide-in module and
attach  arrows.
Trio
1. Remove front cover(s)  chap. 11.2.
2. Take electronic unit with main printed
circuit board [20] out of ventilation unit
and attach as described below.
Loosen the two wing nuts on the
electronic plate  arrows.
Take electronic slide-in module and
attach  arrows. Depending on unit
type, installation position is on the right
or left of the central wall.

Install optional additional circuit board(s)
ZP 1 and/or ZP 2 in slots and connect with
connecting cables provided. Check DIP
switch settings and adjust if necessary.

4. Attach optional KNX or EnOcean plug-in
module (K-SM/E-SM) to slot X01 [20.1] of
main board  installation instructions for
accessories.
5. Guide connecting cable of operating units
and additional components through cable
feedthrough [5], [23] or [34] into ventilation
unit. Ensure seal integrity (IP protection).
6. Establish electrical connection – wire
connection cables according to wiring
diagram in chapters 14 to 20. For
connection variants of additional com-
ponents  installation instructions for
accessories.

Insert electronic slide-in module in elec-
tronic compartment – firmly screw down
electronic slide-in module for WS 170 and
160 Flat units.
8. Fit front cover(s)  chapter 11.2.
9. Carry out a function test: Main switch [3] in
position „I" and/or „activate" mains fuse on
Trio units. The LEDs on the single control
unit activate.
10. Download commissioning software.

11. Commission ventilation unit in accordan-
ce with commissioning and maintenance
instructions.
12. Install operating unit(s)  wiring
diagram in chapters 14 to 20.
