REA ELECTRIC COOKERS
Operation:
1. Fill the cooking container, or optional mesh basket, with the food product. Please
note that introducing a frozen or very cold product into the cooking container the
temperature will drop significantly, increasing energy consumption.
2. Program the Aditec control unit with the appropriate cooking temperature and time
(refer to
).
section 7.2
3. To empty the liquid in the container, first allow the cooker to cool to room
temperature. Open the drain tap carefully and do not leave the cooker unattended
during draining.
4. Remember to always DISCONNECT electric power sources and the water supply
and to TURN OFF the main switches after using the cooker.
DANGER! Be very careful when opening the cooker's lid or
draining the cooking container after use. First allow the steam
inside to dissipate before approaching the container.

E-7.1 Using the Aditec MKA-110 Control Unit

The Aditec MKA-110 control unit permits the precise programming of cooking temperature and time parameters and, once
programmed, allows start of a work cycle at the push of the on/off button. The unit utilizes up to two temperature sensors: the standard
probe for measuring cooking container temperature and an optional core temperature probe which measures the food product
temperature.
The Aditec control unit must first be switched on in order to use it. The power switch is located in the front of the unit's switchboard.

E-7.2 Programming Instructions

Make sure the cooker is powered off by checking that the START/STOP BUTTON LED is off. The cooker

Please bear in mind:

 The user may prefill the container with
hot water to reduce cooking time.
 The temperature readings provided by
the supplied thermometer, whether
analog or digital, are for guidance only
since
the
actual
throughout the food product may not
necessarily be uniform. Deviations up
to ± 4 ° C should be considered
normal.
 The thermal fluid helps the cooking
container retain residual heat up to two
days.
 Do not step on the drained water as it
may contain fat and be very slippery.
