Before first Use
Remove the unit and the accessory out of the packaging. Keep packaging
materials out of reach of children. Plastic bags etc. may become a deadly toy for
children.
Sucking with Dust Filter
1. Connect the suction hose (6) with the motor unit. On the adaptors of the
suction hose and above the suction opening (4) you will find an arrow symbol.
Insert the suction hose with the arrow symbol into the opening and turn the
hose clockwise to engage.
2. Connect the suction hose with the telescopic tube (12) and the floor brush (8).
To extend the telescope tube, press the lock button on the telescope tube.
Keep the lock button pressed to adjust the length of the telescope tube. If you
release the lock button, the telescope tube locks in this position.
3. Insert the power plug into the wall socket and switch the unit on by pressing
the ON/OFF switch (2).
4. For adjusting the suction power, slide the suction control (7) forward in order
to close the opening and backward in order to open the opening. The bigger
the opening is, the lower the power. The smaller the opening or completely
closed, the higher the suction power.
5. For sucking hard floor press the foot pedal (9) forwards. For cleaning carpets
press the foot pedal backwards.
Empting the Dust Container
Empty the dust container frequently, to maintain strong suction power.
1. Switch the unit off and pull the power plug.
2. Open both locking clips (3) and remove the motor unit.
3. To remove the suction hose, turn it counter clockwise and pull out. You do not
need to remove the suction hose, but if you do so, handling will be easier.
You can also check, if hair or lint blocks the opening and remove.
4. Empty the dust container over a bin or a similar container outdoors. Tap out
the dust filter, too.
5. Reattach the dust filter and the motor unit and close the locking clips. Attach
the suction hose onto the unit.
