MESSAGE
(#7)
MESSAGE Operator tried to change
(#8) certain parameters that it
is not possible to change
during a cutting operation,
for example, "Units".
MESSAGE Cutting operation
(#9) terminated because the
STOP button was been
pressed.
MESSAGE The cooling valve was
(#10) turned to the cleaning
position during cutting.
MESSAGE It was not possible to
(#11) complete a cutting
operation. The automatic
feed speed control
feature reduces in steps
of 20% a maximum of 4
times after which, if motor
load is still too high, the
cutting operation is
terminated.
MESSAGE Operator tried to change
.(#12) certain parameters that
are locked when
Discotom is in the current
operating mode.
Action
Wait until the cutting operation has finished
before carrying out this change.
Turn the cooling valve back to the cutting
position. Wait until after the cutting operation
has finished before using the cooling valve.
The three most likely causes are:
The feed speed was much too high, before
cutting started.
The cut-off wheel being used is not suitable
for cutting the sample.
The motor RPM is not appropriate (D-65
only).
Consult Struers or your local dealer for
information on how to cut this type of
material.
If the parameter has to be changed, either
the operation mode has to be changed to a
menu level where the parameter can be
changed, or the operation mode can be
changed to "Configuration" mode (in which
all parameters can be changed). Changing
the operation requires that the operator
enters the correct pass code.
