4.5 REAR COVERING HARROW
The normal working position of the harrow is shown in Figure 33.
In this position, the wear on the teeth, between the long and the
short one is even and uniform. By adjusting the regulating handle
(I), it is possible to change the angle of the harrow.
The working pressure of the spring-loaded teeth can be varied by
rotating the spring (L) located on the upper parallel arm (Fig. 33).
To change the vertical travel of the rear seed-covering harrow,
move the pin (M in Fig. 34) to the desired hole.
In the version with COREX furrower discs and rear wheel the depth
is adjusted by ¿ tting the seed-covering harrow (N in Fig. 35) with
an extension and changing the position of the steps on the ladder
(O in Fig. 35).
