Always keep plastic packaging away from children. It
poses a suffocation risk.
Children who are younger than 8 years of age must be
kept away from the device and its mains cable (4).
If smoke is produced, or there are any unusual sounds or
smells, switch off the raclette grill immediately and remove
the mains plug from the mains socket. In such cases, the
raclette grill must not be used until it has been inspected
by authorised service personnel. Never inhale smoke from
a potential device fire. If you have inhaled smoke,
however, consult a doctor. The inhalation of smoke can
be harmful.
Never touch the mains cable (4) and the raclette grill with
wet hands because there is a risk of an electric shock!
Do not use the raclette grill with charcoal or other fuels. It
poses a fire hazard!
Always place the raclette grill on a flat, heat-resistant
surface and not in the vicinity of heat sources and
flammable materials, liquids or gases. Leave at least
30cm clearance from walls because there is a risk of fire
otherwise!
The raclette grill must not become damaged in order to
prevent hazards.
Ensure that no fire sources (e.g. burning candles) are
placed on or near the raclette grill. It poses a fire hazard!
If grease ignites on the raclette grill, never extinguish
it with water! There is a risk of explosive deflagration.
Extinguish it instead with, for example, a fire blanket that
will smother the fire.
