3M 6895 Inhalation valve gasket
• Replace the gaskets if they are warped, distorted, cut or split.
• Replace the gaskets on each 7910 bayonet connector.
Be sure the gasket is flat and seated correctly.
3M 7882 Nose cup valve
• The nose cup valves are supplied as a complete assembly 7882.
• Remove the nose cup valves if they become warped, torn or
otherwise damaged.
Replace the valves in the nose cups such that the post points
away from the nose.
Nose cup valve assembly (7882):
• Remove by grasping the edges of the valves and carefully
pulling the post out of the valve seat. Replace if the valve is
cut, split, warped or will not seal. If the valve seat is damaged,
replace the entire valve assembly.
• To replace, position the valve inside the nose cup and insert the
rubber post onto the centre hole of the valve seat. Carefully
pull on the post until the groove on the post is in the centre
hole. Ensure the valve is flat against the valve seat.
Breathing room assembly (Fig. 11-12).

• Remove the speech diaphragm, nose cup, exhalation valve
cover and exhalation valve.
• Use a Philips head screwdriver to loosen retaining ring and
remove breathing room assembly for cleaning and inspection.
• Reassemble by inserting the breathing room assembly into the
facepiece, reapplying the retaining ring and tighten.

9. Storage

The respirator should be placed in a container and stored at ambient
temperature in a dry, non-contaminated atmosphere that is protected
against atmospheric contaminants.

10. Warranty

If any goods supplied or processed by or on behalf of 3M prove on
inspection to be defective in material or workmanship, 3M undertakes
at its option to replace the same or refund the price of the goods, but
in no circumstances will liability exceed the cost of replacement or
the price paid by the buyer for the goods.
The buyer shall determine the suitability of the products for its
intended use and shall not rely upon any representations made by or
on behalf of 3M.

In no circumstances will 3M's liability exceed the limitations set forth
above. Save as stated above, 3M will not be liable for any loss or
damage where consequential or otherwise arising from the supply of
goods by 3M or from their use or from any defect or failure in
performance of the goods or however caused (except for death or
personal injury resulting from 3M' negligence).
Any warranties and conditions whatsoever whether expressed or
implied by statute or common law, are excluded.
