Intended use

The backwater pumping station serves as a draining system
for wastewater without sewage, domestic or industrial waste-
water.
The system is resistant to the usual domestic acids and alka-
lis. Condensate from condensing boilers must be neutralised
or diluted. Alternatively, a chemical-resistant customised
solution can be purchased (individual@kessel.de). The sys-
tem must be installed in a building to guarantee frost protec-
tion.
The system contains a type 5 backwater valve. If water
consumers are running during backwater, the wastewater
incurred is pumped away against backwater pressure.
