General information

System beeps

Switch-on
Upon switching-on during the segment test, a short beep is
heard.
End of programme
A programme end (profile programmes, count-down) is indica-
ted by a short beep.
Exceeding maximum pulse
If the preset maximum pulse is exceeded by one pulse beat,
every 5 seconds two short beeps can be heard.
Error indication
In case of an error, 3 short beeps can be heard.
Recovery
In this function, the flywheel mass is braked automatically.
Further training is not recommended.
Calculation of the fitness grade (F):
grade (F) = 6.0 – ( 10 x (P1–P2) )

P1 stress pulse, P2 = recovery pulse
F1.0 = very good, F6.0 = insufficient
Switching time/distance
With the programmes "Performance Profiles", you can switch the
profile per column in the settings from time mode (1 minute) to
distance mode (200 metres or 0.1 miles).
Profile indication during training
Initially, the first column will blink. Once lapsed, it will move to
the right.
Rotation-dependent operation
(constant braking torque)
The electromagnetic eddy-current brake will set a constant
braking torque.
Stroke-frequency-dependent control (up/down
arrows)
If you activated the control, the up or down arrow will appear
on the display if there is a deviation of -/+ 4 strokes.
Calculation of average
The average will be calculated for each unit of training.
Notes on pulse taking
The pulse calculation starts, once the heart in the display
blinks in the frequency of the pulse.
Chest belt
Please note the instructions on the back of the packaging.
Mobile phone, TV sets and other electrical equipment, genera-
ting electric fields may cause problems for heart-frequency
taking.
Malfunctioning of the training computer
Switch the main switch On and Off again. If there are date
and time failures, change the battery on the back of the dis-
play. (see assembly instructions)
Malfunctioning of the radio remote control
If the radio remote control is malfunctioning (decreasing
range or keystroke does not start a function), change the bat-
tery of the casing of the radio remote control. (see assembly
instructions)
Notes on interface
"ERGO KONZEPT II", item no. 7926-500 enables you to control
your KETTLER – equipment with a conventional PC via the
interface.

her options in connection with the interface and about soft-
ware updates (firmware) of this equipment.

Firmware Updates

Please find the version of the equipment's software (firmware)
on the lower right edge of the "Settings" menu.
The last 3 digits indicate the firmware version: here 131. If
newer versions (higher number) will be available on our
homepage, you may update it. Please find respective notes
on our homepage.
