a) Automatic mode:
In standby, the backlight is switched off. It is activated by one of the following actions on the external unit by a user. Without action it automatically switches
off after 30 s:
• Press smart key on the display module
• Press key on the code lock module (operating mode keyboard)
• Press key on the push bell button module.
b) Explanations.
AD2 mode activated: name of the resident appear, not activated: only the flat number appears.
10-850 direct dialling activated: you can directly call a telephone (in case of 10-362, number of max. 10 digits can be called) Activate preselection via first
letter: by pressing a smart key, at first a list with the available first letters is shown. From there, the entire overview of the selected letter can be viewed (only
useful in the event of large resident databases).

8.1. Call and speak with resident using smart keys (display module)

• Scroll through the first letters:
Press the smart key repeatedly
Confirm your choice using the smart key

The list with available first letters is only shown when the preselection
resident list component
was activated using the Niko Configuration SW. Otherwise the resident list
immediately appears.
