Maintenance and cleaning
• Please be advised by your hearing care pro-
fessional as regards the maintenance and
daily cleaning of your hearing system.
• Influences such as dirt, wind, cold, heat,
moisture, leaky batteries, daily use, age-
ing device, etc. may have negative effects
on the properties of the device. In order to
minimise the likelihood of a malfunction,
the device must be cleaned and maintained
regularly.
• Pollution, sweat and moisture should be
removed from your hearing system daily
(wiped with a soft, dry cloth).
• If not using, it is also necessary to remove
the battery from your hearing device every
evening after its daily clean. When not in
use, please store it with the battery com-
partment open in order for any moisture
present in the device to evaporate.
• The receiver and earpiece must be cleaned
regularly. Under no circumstances use water
to clean it, but only a soft, dry cloth.
• Please take off your hearing system before
showering, washing your hair, stepping into
a sauna or steam room.
• Remove the hearing system whilst applying
perfume, creams, hairspray or other cosmetics.
• Keep your hearing system dry and clean.
• Never try to dry the hearing system with a
hair-dryer or in a microwave oven.
• For particularly hygienic and protective
cleaning, we recommend special products
available from specialist stores. Under no
circumstances use petrol or similar chemical
cleaning products.
We kindly request that you follow these in-
structions at all times, as otherwise there can
be no guarantee claim and no warranty repairs
can be carried out!
