Insert the intake tube into the jetting agent. Make
sure that external tube is not completely submer-
ged into the jetting agent. This could generate a
vacuum preventing the jetting agent from being
taken up.
5.2 Fitting/replacing the nozzles (Fig. 5-6a)
Warning!
Before inserting new nozzles always discon-
nect the spray gun from the compressed air
supply.
The procedure for disassembling the nozzles is
shown in Figures 5-6a. To assemble, proceed in
the reverse order.
6. Operation
6.1 Connecting to a compressed air supply
•
Connect the nipple (4) to the quick-lock coup-
ling of a compressed air hose (the hose is not
supplied).
•
Note the maximum permissible operating
pressure of the equipment.
6.2 Switching on and off (Fig. 1)
Switching on: Press the trigger (5).
Switching off : Release the trigger (5).
Hazard!
The dusts which are formed while the equipment
is being used may be a health hazard:
•
Always wear safety goggles and a dust mask
when working with the sandblasting gun.
•
All persons who work with the equipment or
enter the workplace must wear a protective
dust mask.
•
Eating, drinking and smoking are prohibited
at the workplace.
•
Paints containing lead are not allowed to be
used!

7. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
Disconnect the compressed air supply from the
equipment before performing any cleaning work.
7.1 Cleaning
•
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the
motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean
cloth or blow it down with compressed air at
low pressure.
•
We recommend cleaning the equipment im-
mediately each time after use.
•
Clean the equipment regularly with a damp
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents; these may be ag-
gressive to the plastic parts in the equipment.
Ensure that no water can get into the interior
of the equipment.
7.2 Maintenance
There are no other parts inside the equipment
which require maintenance.
Excluded from the guarantee are:
•
Wear parts
•
Damage cause by too much operating pres-
sure.
•
Damage caused by improper use or unautho-
rized intervention.
