5. Description
T he L A BPS3005D is a highly ac curate, D C - regulated power s upply with an adjus table output. T his output
c an be us ed for c ons tant voltage (C .V.) and c ons tant c urren t (C .C.).
T he output voltage c an be adjus ted between 0 V and 3 0V when the devic e is in the c onstant voltage
mode. T he c urrent-limiting point c an be s et arbitrarily in this mode.
T he output c urrent c an be adjus ted c ontinuously between 0A and 5 A in the c onsta nt current mode.
T he output c urrent and voltage are indicated on the L E D displays.

6. Operation
Switching the Power Supply On or Of f
1. C onnect the inc luded power c ord to the bac k of the devic e [23] and plug the other end into a
s uitable, earthed power s ocket.
A lways c onnect the device to an earthed power s oc ket.
2. P res s the Power button [19] to s witc h the power s upply on.
T he power s upply automatically rec alls the s ettings from memory 1 . (See Set ting Voltage and
Current for more information.) T he dis play s hows the existing s ettings, the M 1 indicator [13]
lights .
A t this moment, there is no output voltage or c urrent on the output termina ls .
3. P res s the Power button [19] to s witc h the power s upply off.
