4.9.3 Desulphation programme

For wet-cell batteries you can select a desulphation programme,
which charges with a small current for 21 hours up to the charging
end current of 15 volts. Light sulphate formation can thus be re-
duced again.
Withthe"ON/OFF"buttons,thedesulphationprogrammecanbe
switchedonandoffagain.Thisisonlypossibleifthebatterytype
"wet"hasbeenselected.Thelineisblockedforothertypes.
After switching on, you can exit the menu again by pressing the
outer"right"buttonandreturntothe"chargemode"via"save"
yes.
Now the charging parameters for the desulphation programme are
shown and the battery is charged over 21 hours with 1.5 A. The
voltage then increases to a maximum of 15 volts. The charged
ampere hours and the remaining time are also displayed.
