Attach an address sticker to the slave registered.

The first slave registered is assigned
Address 1, the second Address 2,
and so on.
–
Once all the slaves have been
registered, the display reads e. g.:
Press the
key to process the
registration data in the central unit.
During this time, display:
a symbol flashes in the bottom right
of the display to indicate system
activity.

The function is quit and the measurement mode is active.
CAUTION
!
When the slave is registered, the system is (re)set to the factory
default settings. The only exceptions concern the preset alarms
(threshold, hysteresis, mean time) for the transmitters.
A customised configuration must therefore always be set or repeated
after registering the slaves.
An individual system configuration can be undertaken by Dräger Service.

Visual inspection
Register slave ?
At least every 3 months to determine operational readiness. Inspect
1 Slave registered !
the complete VarioGard system for damage and check that gas access
to the transmitters is unobstructed.
Routine inspections

As required by local regulations (in Germany, VDI 2053 - Ventilation
and air conditioning systems for car parks and tunnels / car parks,
8 Slave registered !
State car parks ordinance, etc.). Dräger recommends having the
system inspected by Dräger Service at least once a year.

Calibration of transmitters
The calibration can be carried out with the magnetic wand (order no.
45 43 428) directly on the transmitter.
Handling the magnetic wand:
Each transmitter has two contact
points labelled with
the housing. Place the magnetic
wand on the contact points for
calibration.
Maintenance
Replace the sensors of the transmitters.
Replace battery (emergency flashing light power supply) in
central unit.
CAUTION
!
Always calibrate the zero-point before span.
